Castle of Eliv Thade Guide Game Overview: The object of this game is to escape the Castle of Eliv Thade. You must find four artifacts in the four different rooms: Dining Room: Sword of Skardsen Kitchen: Shield of Pion Troect Library: Grimoire of Thade Bedroom: Amulet of Thlig Do this in order to advance to the crypt and ultimately escape from the evil grasp of Eliv Thade! In order to move, you must solve anagrams given by this crazed spirit. The number of letters in each anagram depends on the amount of squares you move: (Hard Mode) 1 square – 5 letters – 2 points 2 squares – 6 letters – 5 points 3 squares – 7 letters – 10 points Every time you enter a room, you get extra points, also depending on how many squares you move: 1 square – 2 points + 50 points 2 squares – 5 points + 50 points 3 squares – 10 points + 50 points You also get one extra hint point everytime you enter a room. Don’t fall through the cracks! There is a 50% chance of falling through, however, even if you do fall through, you still earn the points for solving the anagram! To the crypt, you receive an 8 letter anagram and upon winning you receive 150 points, plus a 50 point bonus. It’s real easy to rack up on the max amount of neopoints in this game, all you have to do is make one complete loop of the castle path in hard mode (you don't have to go back and forth anymore since they changed the amounts of points.) See map below for simple path to 1000NP!  Secrets/Tips: As most of you know, there are anagram solvers out there that can do the brain work for you. A real good one I found is the Andy’s Anagram Solver. It doesn’t have pop up ads, and is real easy to use. You can even download a program so you don’t have to goto the site all the time (if you can figure out how to use the program, it’s a little different from the site.) There are invisible spaces in the castle (signified by red exclamation points.) If this image doesn’t help and you can’t seem to find them still, just wave your mouse over the dark areas of the map. If it turns into a pointing finger, it means there is an invisible square there!  If you want to achieve a high score from this game, a good strategy is to finish all the rooms and get to the final path, or the vicinity of where you started. It’s pretty clear there with no cracks. Keep moving 3 spaces at a time, as you receive higher points this way and you can get a higher score faster. Even if you get a high score in the thousands, you still can only make 1000np from a game. Not all the anagrams in this game are actual “words” some of them are neopets vocab, so they cannot be solved by the anagram solver. Use two or three hints for this, then try to figure it out. Either way you have three lives, and very rarely are neo-words even used. If you receive an anagram that isn’t solvable by the anagram solver, and you are sure it's not a neo-word, use a hint, and bump up the number of words found by the anagram solver to 2 or 3.
