Evil Fuzzles from Beyond the Stars Guide! Introduction We've had them in our inventory for quite a while, our pets play with them, but we have always wondered what can be so evil in such cuddly toys. Well, it turned out our so-called evil fuzzles step up to their names, and it's no mistake. Just recently they have attacked the already twisted world out of our world - the Space Station, and you are called upon to untwist it! Setting & Plot You are Zygorax, a maintenance worker who gets to clean up, but realizes he has more than dust to wipe. Lucky for you, you have your X-Scrub 4000 Walker Bot ready to protect you and take you from station to station. This is something like a protective steel armour-type vehicle. I bet every maintenance worker has that in handy! The main idea of the game is to shoot at evil fuzzles that approach you and destroy mines before you approach them. Now wait, you may think it is a shoot-out game, but there is something else to know, so we'll move on to... How To Play You control a Grundo who moves from station to station and shoots at evil Fuzzles. A shoot-out game. Ah, wait! Wasn't there something else to know? Oh yeah, this is not a typical shoot-out game. It doubles, triples, etc your points the more you hit (not miss) in a row, so don't shoot like a maniac. That's one thing. So, what am I equipped with, you may ask. That's easy, because you have to buy your own weapons, but please don't gasp, you do have a basic gun. You have to know that each hit turns into a VirtuCredit, the currency in this game. With it you can buy the following things: Hull Repairs (repairs the hull integrity) : 10 VirtuCredits Stun Bomb (stuns Fuzzles for short time): 10 VirtuCredits Repair Droid (restores hull integrity): 50 VirtuCredits Smart Bomb (clears screen of fuzzles): 10 VirtuCredits Side Radar (lets you see fuzzles from the side): 20 VirtuCredits MegaGun2 (upgrades your current gun): 35 VirtuCredits Shield (gives you extra 20 hull integrity points): 10 VirtuCredits The game is pretty much over when your hull integrity drops below 0, and all of the weapons contribute to helping your hull integrity, some directly, like hull repairs, repair droids, and shields, and some indirectly, which are all the ones left. Also keep in mind that not all weapons keep their current price. For instance, the Mega Gun doubles in price each time you update it, you will need to upgrade it many, many times. Not all the evil fuzzles are the same. During your first station, they will simply be red. That means you shoot them once, and voila, they're gone. Later you will notice they will become grey, black, start having blue feet, and just mutate more and more, which means, you will need more than one shot to get rid of them. That's where your MegaGun comes in handy. The more upgraded it is, the less you need to shoot at the big guys. Also, you will need a radar because the game accelerates. Once you obtain it, you cannot upgrade it or re-install it. It's for keeps. Use B to move it left and N to move it right. Also, two little boxes will light red on either the left or right side once you obtain your radar. This signals you where the evil fuzzles are. Once you pay for a smart bomb, don't forget about it. Press space every time you want to activate it. |
